Sitting

Yay yay! I have been waiting for this day for...well, almost 7 months, since Emmy was born. She can sit. She started about a week or so ago, and she will probably be crawling in a few weeks. Have I ever mentioned I don't like babies? I feel bad saying it, well, a little. I really like my kids more with every new milestone and every added bit of cognition. Maybe I'll really like being with my kids about the time they move out. I think I must be a bad mom....

A Very Exciting Shoutout!

GRASS!!!!!

Yay Yay Yay, we have grass - all over! We are so excited, it was hard work, especially since we had to do it in the afternoon, when it was the hottest. A HUGENORMOUS thank-you to Chris, Mom H, Trent and Amy, Mom and Dad A, and Mik and his buddies for helping. Keeping it watered is a bit of a challenge, but it'll be so worth it.
