Viral

Well that's it, I have had it, I am madder than a hornet. The world convinced me I needed Facebook , but I just don't think I do. Friends and family finally convinced me I had to do it. At first it was innocent fun. In 12 hours I had 26 friends. How cool I thought, I didn't know I knew so many people. Then at 48 hours I am getting more comfortable, adding applications, and as I am about to finish for the night BAM !!!! I get hit by a virus. Now before you ask, yes, My Norton had just expired, and I had not installed the new one yet, I'd thought I'd be ok for a few days. Apparently NOT. Sigh. Long story short, I chose the free method of reformatting and installing everything over. we lost everything on the computer, but I didn't have it in me to spend over $100 to have it fixed, risking that we may have lost most of our files anyway. Grrrr . So two days later I am up and running again. I swore up and down I am done with Facebook . I just invited another friend....

Menu Challenge

It is a dare, you have to do it! Comment here with AT LEAST 5 things that your family eats in an average month (20 or 30 would be better!) My mom and sister agree, deciding what to make for dinner is the WORST part of being an adult. I am so tired of the same things over and over, and trying to think of things, so please please respond!!!!

A Special Ode To My Sister

Ode to Nanna- I love you sissy oh so much. I love that we don't live together so we can be friends. I love that we can talk now, that we are in similar places in life, and can find company in our woes. I love when you come to visit me, even if you just fall asleep at my house, it is nice that you want to come see me. I love that we can go places without you being embarrased of me! I love that you always say what you think, and I love that I am learning to tell you to cut it out when you hurt my feelings. I love that we can be together forever, cause I'd miss you too much if we weren't! I Love You Nanna Bear!

Ode To My Favorite Things

I have many favorite things. Many Many. Some things I love and some I love a lot, and yet others I love gigundo amounts. Here's a few, but don't assume this is all. I am sure I will leave out may important things. This is a sampling of my many loves. Maybe someday I'll expound on some of them. Pink. Lots of pink. And purple and green and red and orange. Okay, I love color. It's like I can taste it. It feels good. Ice cream, sour cream, bagels and cream cheese, mexican food, cookies, caesar salad, cheese, pizza, potatoes, Pepsi, candy, broccoli, roast, lasagna, chicken nuggets, chinese food, and so on and so forth. I love food, I love to cook it, and I love to eat it. My mom. We're best friends. All my other friends, best and other wise. Especially the Jeppsons , having a couple as friends, where we all get along has been life-changing. Trent - this is a specific ode to you: Thank you for making friends with the geek. My new house. I love you house, even your qwi...

Thoughts on...College

I have just been thinking lately about how glad I am that I finished. It really has nothing to do with the paper that I got in the mail the month after I finished, it is about what I learned along the way. Both in and out of the classroom. Once Nathan joined us it was tempting to quit, say that I'll finish later, but we all know hat happens. I see lots of people who do quit once they have a baby, I am just glad we found a way to make it work. I like who those experiences made me - and to my friends and family out there who are having or have just had a first baby, you can do it, and you can do it without shipping your baby off to daycare, and it is worth it, you'll be glad later.

Its Just Life

Well, all is settled into a safe routine, and I have to wonder when that will explode in my face. Nate is sassy and rude sometimes, but generally sweet and fun. Emmy is also sweet and fun and racing to grow up, and occasionally a spoiled brat, except no one is spoiling her. Andrew sleeps, goes to school or work, and sometimes gets to play his video games. I have a million and one projects I want to do, and never enough hours to do them. Like this morningI need to vacuum, and wipe down bathroom surfaces, I want to hang all the new pretty decor I got yesterday for my living room, or sew some curtains or dresses for emmy, and here I am playing on blogs. But I love them. I love following friends lives, especially the ones I thought I had lost track of. Hello, friends!!!! And you Kami - you may not be my friend anymore if you don't step away from the digital scrapbooking long enough to return my call for a hair cut appointment!!!!
