So I have finally been able to figure out how to get onto the blog site. Maren says that she has told me how to get on about six times, but well...... I seem to forget too easily. Maren and I are now living with her parents. We moved out of our apartment on Oct. 31 and we got called that day to tell us that we would be able to close on our house on Nov. 14. Hurray!!!!! On the Monday just before we got the bad news. The lady at the USDA that our realtor had been talking to wasn't even the person working on our case. The lady handeling our case for a home loan had not even started working on it. Everything we had been told was a bunch of bull. We were in the middle of KOHLS at the time. Maren just broke down sobbing. On the following Wednesday, Janna, Tony, Maren, and I, went with our realtor to Blackfoot to talk to the area manager of the USDA rural developement. Long story short, he was willing to help even if his underling wasn't. She took the rest of the week off and he took ...

So life is more than just a little crazy right now - Let us count the ways: 1) 27 1/2 weeks preggo - officially into the third trimester, 2/3 of the way done. Hormones are high as are aches and pains. Should I laugh or should I cry? Or both? And do I really have 3 months left, or will Emmelyn be like Nate? Then I only have 6 weeks left... 2) I got to see my Heather - My best friend of 10 years who left the area over a year ago. Sad, her gramma had to die for our little reunion to happen, but I'll take it. 3)Nate is sick, some little cold, but he is notorious for spiking fevers of 102 to 103 with any little virus. What's worse is when he came down with it today, we were just hours away from his first Primary Program. He was so excited and had practiced so hard. Poor Buddy. Now I just have to keep myself healthy! 4) We are moving this week, Thursday and Friday. Pack Pack Pack your house.... 5) We have no where to move to. Okay, well, we will stay with my family for a week or ...

Let's just say it is one of my least favorite jobs so far. So for a long time, Nathan wouldn't stay dry for more than 45 minutes or so. At age 3 1/2 that seemed strange to me. So I mentioned it to his doctor. Doc ordered ultrasounds, and sent him to a urologist, who ordered more ultrasounds and tests. When the urologist called to say that all tests came back normal, that is may be an age/development thing or an overactive bladder thing and may require meds for a few months. I said lets just try potty training for a month, and if he isn't better in a month we'll try the drugs. So I got off the phone and told Nate that the doctor called and said he was ready to be potty trained. He got all excited and said ok. So he is wearing undies during the day, since last Wednesday. We go through about 3 pairs a day, but he stayed dry through a nap the other day (not today though...) and he stayed dry at church on Sunday, and seemsto be doing far better than ever before. Nate and Emmy are going to have a new cousin in May! Aunt Nanna just made her announcement and I couldn't be happier. Nate says "Yeah!!!!! Why?" Congrats Janna and Tony, we are so happy for you! And for the record, I follow the Chinese Gender Prediction, which says it'll be a girl.

We haven't had anything really big happen for fun updates, but I can give some little ones. We are still waiting for our house, still pretty sure we are getting it, We'll know for positive in the beginning of October, and we'll close between the middle and end of October. Our baby has a name..... Emmelyn Dawn. Emmy has already been sticking as a nickname. Nathan is slowly accepting that it is a sister, although the other day he told me he has a brother named Brigham in his belly. Hmmm .... Nate and Andrew are supposed to go camping with the ward this weekend....Yea for Mommy time!!! Nate also has some tests to be done this Friday on his bladder, we aren't sure what is wrong, but apparently his bladder isn't emptying right. He has a second ultrasound and a procedure where they'll put in a cath , put dye in his bladder and watch it on xray . Then next week he has a followup appointment with the Urologist. Oh, and Andrew came home from work the other night, scared...

GIRL! Nate is pretty bummed, Andrew is giddy and I am...reticent. Girls are so high drama, and this one seems to be leaning that way already. But, they sure are fun to shop for, right? So, that excitement is over. Now we wait. And the house is plodding along, so we wait. And I am tired, so I wait for nap times, which seem to be shortening and even disappearing. We have pics from the ultrasound, and just got a scanner so I will add some pics of baby, and the rest of us soon. Please feel free to comment if you have any brilliant ideas for girl names. We have a few, but nothing decided for sure yet.

Well, at this point, it looks like its a go!!!!! I suppose there is a small chance that the loan may fall through at last minute, because of the nature of it, but there is also a small chance that the world may explode or that Elvis will be elected president. Oh, My, Gosh. We have a house. We will be closing on or before (hopefully before) October 30th, so now I must exercise that patience that the Lord has been trying to teach me. I cannot pack my kitchen or clothes this week. We hope to get into the house for a little while this week to measure and take pictures to aid in planning. Wooohooo. On an equally exciting note:1 1/2 weeks till the big ultrasound!!!!! Oh, and Andrew felt our fiesty little baby for the first time on Saturday night. It was upset AGAIN because we were taking up too much of it's room. (Andrew had his arm draped across my belly while we watched a movie). It's room, Bah.

So this morning we met with our realtor. Last week I spoke with him on the phone, and gave him a list of houses we had seen online that we were interested in. There were 3 older homes, several small spec homes in a new subdivision, and a spec home that has been complete and empty over a year a block or two from my parents (although in a different ward). When we arrived in his office today we found out that the three older ones that we had really liked, and seemed very feasible had all sold over the weekend. Yes, in a housing market that has been relatively stagnant, the three we like had all disappeared. So we went to see the collection of smaller homes in a new subdivision. They were nice, very pretty, but no basements. Plus, it is one of those neighborhoods where there are 6 floor plans and two or three color variations, and small lots, so it is just row after row of houses that all look the same. So yesterday we went and looked at apartments. Ewww. Yuckkkk. Nasty. People are so trashy-gross! We saw three-bedroom apartments in several locations on the east side of town, and they had all been abused, and the neighborhoods were scary, and the management were rude. And these were the supposedly the nicest apartments around!!!!!!!!!! So Monday morning we are meeting our realtor to talk about some options. I don't know how far we'll get there with our budget, but I am not sure I can face moving to another dang apartment. Why can't people have a little respect and at least put their dirty diapers in a dumpster instead of on the grass? And how about management companies repairing broken bedroom doors (as in with a hole in them) and vacuuming the carpets when someone moves out??????? Now that I have been making my blog pretty, and sound nice, it occurs to me that y'all may find it strange that I do not have any pics on our blog - yes, I know that is one of the main points behind a blog. Here's the deal. Our main computer appears to have died. Along with a mighty amount of pics. I backed stuff up six months ago, but have added a fair amount since then. So, when and if I am ever able to recover the old pics, or take new ones, I will add them. I promise.

Okay, so evidently that there morning sickness kept me busy for a while. I really have great intentions at keeping this up! I probably wouldn't have even come on today to update, but my friend best-beautician-ever gave me her blog address, and it was so darn cute I decided I decided I had better make a better effort at this. I am feeling much better, it is nice to finally have the energy and stomach to do things like clean, cook, scrapbook, watch a movie.... We have three weeks until we get our big ultrasound, and yes, we are going to find out what it is (I'll give you a hint, it's not a puppy). September 4th is the big day, 9:30 am. I'll be sure to update then. Andrew is working as an LPN and slowly getting into the swing of things. I won't say he loves his job, but it is nice that we have more than doubled the income that he and I brought in together when we first were married 5 1/2 years ago. He starts his RN classes next Tuesday, and is pumped and ready to go. N...

So, I am preggo. 6week, 5 days according to my first ultrasound. (I'd post a pic of the ultrasound, but it looks like black and white abstract art) The baby is supposedly due in late January, but I won't hold my breath about making it into the New Year! Nathan says he is getting a sister, and her name will be firetruck-firetruck. I just smile and nod. Yeah, we'll see. We found out we are pregnant on Andrew's birthday, which was about two weeks ago. Kind of funny, cause we found out we were expecting Nate on Andrew's birthday 4 years ago. I started off immedietly with my signature flare-up of acid reflux, and wated to die from that. I finally got permission to take Prilosec and that issue is getting resolved, only to be replaced by good old-fashioned morning sickness. All day. For someone who loves eating, this has been torture. I find it very interesting the way our brains magically forget the bad parts of pregnancy so we are dunb enough to do it again. I have very ...

Well, the world seems to be thriving on this blog business, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Here's to a great start, let's see if I can keep it up! I am hoping for three outcomes here. 1) To update friends and family on our comings and goings 2) To keep a record for ourselves of ourcomings and goings 3) To give myself something to do to keep my mind off the nausea. Yup, that's right, nausea. Morning sickness, for whatever reason they call it that,as it lasts alot longer than through the morning. Looks like all of our waiting paid off. After working for this for almost a year I am now wondering what I was thinking, but I am counting on the fact that time passes, I won't feel sick forever. Eventually I will eat something other that saltines, and do something other than sit on the couch and try to ignore how ookie I feel. If anyone has brilliant ideas, feel free to comment.
