Sigh, I keep thinking it is time to blog, but I feel like there isn't much to say. We are still at this moment waiting for my sisters baby, any moment now Cooper Pooper ! The yard and house still are getting worked on, but I have been told by a few blog-readers that all of the yard updates are a bit redundant. Trust me, I know, doing the work feels redundant too. I think I am losing some of my trees, and will have to replant. That will be REALLY redundant. We just found out Nate got accepted to the preschool he originally wanted, and he's really excited. I think I am too....He is such a character. I love when he says things like "you just don't understand me" or "you never loved me". He just cracks me up. He has a talk in primary on Sunday , his third in 6 months. After this I plan to say NO. Emmy is like a weed, and is already bigger than her brother was at 9 months. She loves her feet, and food. She'll eat anything I'll let her, and still wants...

This last Saturday (May 16) Maren and I got out and started planting our shrubs and Trees in our yard. We got four trees planted and nine shrubs planted. Maren planted the the other tree and seven other shrubs the day before . Nathan even got into the action by breaking up the dirt clods for us. We also have started putting grass seed down. Maren has decided that she wanted to do small patches of grass so she doesn't get overwhelmed with getting the grass to grow. We have got two spots going and Maren wants two get two more started soon. Maren and I are totally stoked with how the yard is going. We keep saying that we're not interested in trying to compete with the neighbors, and we're not, but it sure is nice that our neighbors have suddenly decided that they want to get their own yards started. Seriously , its not about keeping up or being ahead of the "Jones" but its great knowing that all the neighbors are interested in making their houses look nice too. ...

Getting out of town was wonderful. The condo that my mother set us up with was beautiful. Nathan got to "swim" every day. His idea of swimming, of course, is holding onto me and let me pull him through the pool or using his " floatie " ring to be in the water with. But he didn't like the idea of going into a pool that he couldn't touch the bottom. There was a wading pool for small children, but the pump on it was broken, so he was out of luck. I tried to teach Nathan how to dunk his head under the water and he did it a couple of times on purpose and then he was done. At least he is learning for the times when he falls under the water so he doesn't end up with tons of water in his lungs. Even Emmy and Maren got into the swimming action. Emmy didn't care for the large pool because it was too cold for her, but she did like the "warm" tub. Tuesday we went to the bear and wolf exploration center. School ended for me this last Tuesday. I am so relieved. Now I get the chance to relax........ NOT!!!!! Work is crazy right now. Our "customer base" aka. number of residents that we have is down, so everyone's hours are being cut, and the first place that they cut are the second nurse on night shift. So even though I'm supposed to be working night shift, I'm back on evenings. Which means my differential has been cut also. I do have to remember that the economy is in the hole and this time of year is when we have fewer residents anyways. Maren, Nathan, and I are excited for next week. We're going to West Yellowstone for a family vacation that my mother set us up with. Time to get away from work, school, and house. So I think Maren is a little annoyed with me on the birthday. My sweet hubby's birthday is approaching, and we tend to make a birthdays a big deal, well, especially Andrew's because i is so far from other holidays....And on this joyous occasion where we are only a year away from the really big you-are-getting-old birthday, I thought I would publicly re-proclaim my love. Andrew is more than I ever thought to ask for in a hubby. He is sensitive and masculine, he is silly and serious, he is loyal, intelligent, kind, and patient - usually! He honors his Priesthood and I am so thankful we have it in our home. Andrew is hard working and I appreciate the way he takes care of us. I'd be lost without him, he is truly my best friend. I have a very unique hubby. He, in addition to playing video games and doing woodwork projects , also sews quilts and weaves shawls. In addition to paying for our home, he likes to participate in the decoration of the home. He is a good listener and an even better advice-giver. He has been in school long enough ...

Well, May has come in like a lion. Literally , that is what it sounds like outside with the way the wind howls. I keep wanting to work outside, I have millions of projects to do, not to mention the fact that we are still waiting to have our lawn prepped, but it has to stay dry, and I am sure the workers would love to have winds less that 32 MPH sustained. This month should hold lots of fun things to post about though. My sister Nanna should be having her baby any day, it is her first, so I am sure I'll get a lot of phone calls saying "I've already called mom 6 times this morning with questions, so I'll ask you...". No prob, sissy, ask away!!!!! Next week we are going on a little family getaway to West Yellowstone. Nate is excited to sleep in the queen bed at the condo, Andrew and I are excited for a King size bed, and we are all excited to go swimming, and into the park.
