Why I Have Chronic Headaches

Saturday mornings the kids and I run into town while Andrew sleeps off another night of work. Here is a sampling of comments that people in the library and stores heard today:

"Don't you talk to me that way"
"You are NOT choosing the right"
"You had better listen to me right this minute"
"Get back over here right now, don't make me come after you"

And those are just what people heard Nate saying to me!

And to top it off, here is an exact transcript of a conversation from dinner tonight:

"Mom, why does milk help with spicy stuff?"

"Well, it helps things not be so spicy in your mouth..."

"Oh, so is that half of Heavenly Father's beautiful plan?"

"Yes, Nate, that is 50% of it, right there."

And what, you might ask, is the other 50%?
If I had to guess, based on other conversations I had multiple times with Nate today, I'd venture a guess that it has something to do with the fact that all bad guys (except Decepticons) used to be good guys.

Wow.

I'm totally loving your blog! I'm glad I found you guys (from a comment you made on Sarah and Jeremy's blog). :)
FB has problems and won't send my message to you. So here it is on your blog.....Confession time: I thought of the name Emalyn a couple months ago (it came to me in one of those pregnancy dreams) before I ever realized that is what you named your daugther. I fell in love with that name. Especially since we've had problems finding girl names we both like. I wanted to know if we have your permission to keep that name in the running for our baby. Some people get really upset if their baby names are "stolen" so I thought I'd ask you. (If we go with it we'll make sure the spelling is different from what you use) 7 weeks to go. We are looking forward to meeting our baby and making the gender annoucment ourselves. We won't need a doctor for that part. I'm pretty sure we'll know what to look for when it comes to gender ROFL Hope all is well with you and the crew.
