We Did It!!!

We-did-it  #1:
I mentioned something big that happened right after our trip:
We upgraded to a king bed. A friend of Heather's was selling her whole bedroom set including mattresses for a screaming good price, so we got the king bet, mattress & box springs, memory foam topper, 2 nightstands and a dresser with mirror. And now Andrew doesn't sleep half on top of me, and neither of us wake up with sore backs from the other person's back/elbow/knee/shoulder in their back all night. YAY!

Emmy is potty trained. Yup, pretty much did it herself, which is a HUGE relief after Nate, who took till he was almost 5 to be completely trained.
Last Monday I told her first thing in the morning that we were saying goodbye to the diapers, and she said "okay". She ended up sitting on the toilet 45ish times that day, pottying half of them. Since then there have been about 4 accidents. She stays dry though shopping, church, my choir practice...it's just before dinner time that she has a hard time. And she is staying dry half the time at night. Better than Nathan, still! Go baby girl!!!

Today we said goodbye to our couch. Mom and Dad gave it to us when Nate was about 1 (6 years ago) and they had it for 11 years before that. Now, the (almost) newlyweds get it. (and it almost didn't get in the door of their apartment...) It's a great couch, and we currently have just chairs, but we'll replace it with something really great. Someday. I hope...Molly will sure miss the couch! It was the only furniture she was allowed on, and she LOVED it.

Okay, mostly I did it...4 Apple pie fillings, 7 pints applesauce and 12 pints apple butter. In a day. Whew.

So...big times coming...Halloween, Mik and Amy's wedding (and I have a LOT to do for that still...), Thanksgiving, My b-day, followed by all the others, My choir concert (in which Nathan gets to perform too), and Christmas...And hopefully no more puke.
Tonight, Nate puked after 3 days without zantac, and a late dinner. That's all it takes. And the Fall. Autumn seems to make it happen more often, Weird. And gross. :(

Hahahaha...if we got a king sized bed, James would still be on top of me because he likes to snuggle :) Congrats to your Baby girl!
